In the heart of the Gaillac vineyards, in the charming village of Le Verdier, this characterful dovecote welcomes you for a relaxing getaway for two, combining heritage, nature and the French art of living. Ideally located, it is the perfect base for discovering the famous bastide towns of the Tarn, including Castelnau-de-Montmiral, Puycelsi and Cordes-sur-Ciel, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. The impressive Episcopal City of Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also within easy reach. Wine tastings at local wineries, walks through the Grésigne Forest and the rolling landscapes of the Vère Valley will make your stay unforgettable.

Set in a beautifully restored traditional dovecote typical of the Gaillac region, this detached cottage is located close to the owners’ home while ensuring your privacy. It has two entrances: one at ground level on the pool side and another accessed by a few steps from the courtyard.

On the garden level, you will find a comfortable living area with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen (filter coffee maker and Nespresso machine), dining area and cosy lounge, perfect for relaxing.

Upstairs:
– One bedroom with a 160×200 cm double bed, a small sitting area with sofa, desk, storage space and a private shower room with WC.

Outside, you can enjoy two private terraces as well as a large covered shared terrace with a relaxation area where birdsong provides the soundtrack to your peaceful moments.

The shared outdoor saltwater swimming pool (12 x 6 m, depth from 1.5 to 2.1 m), located next to the cottage, is secured with an alarm system. Private parking and a bicycle garage are available.

Wi-Fi is limited inside the dovecote but works very well outdoors. Due to the immediate proximity of the swimming pool, the cottage is not suitable for young children.

To make your stay even more special, several optional services can be booked before your arrival, including a romantic package, massage treatments or hairdressing services.
