Merlet is a 16th century hamlet in the heart of Cévennes National Park (WWF) which has been fully restored in keeping with traditional Mont Lozère architecture (granite, flagstone, chestnut). Our 3 gîtes are in the middle of our farm land. You can buy or sample our organic produce (lamb, cold meats, honey, fruit and vegetables) at the table des hôtes. Our gîtes have central heating and bed linen is provided. Gîte Le Béal: where the Béal canal’s peaceful waters will reflect your mood. First floor: Living room with fireplace, fitted kitchen, double bedroom, bathroom and toilet. Ground floor: Twin bedroom, shower room and toilet. Shaded terrace. The interior has been decorated by the arts and crafts people from Pont de Montvert using natural materials. An area where time takes its time.
