In the heart of the Sidobre, this cosy retreat for two on the edge of the forest offers peace, nature and comfort for an authentic stay in one of the most remarkable landscapes of the Tarn.

Between Castres and Brassac, Gîte des Myosotis is set in a remarkable natural environment at an altitude of 600 metres. The hamlet of Le Secun marks the end of the small road and the direct entrance into the forest, offering privileged access to the emblematic sites of the Sidobre : Menhir du Secun, Lac du Merle, Sentier des Merveilles, Roc de l’Oie, Peyro Clabado… From the gîte, several hiking trails are accessible on foot, allowing you to explore the characteristic granite landscapes of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park. Beyond the Sidobre, the region offers many other attractions : Brassac, Castres, the Monts de Lacaune and the surrounding lakes provide a wide range of outdoor activities including swimming, mountain biking, fishing or simply relaxing in a peaceful setting.

In the evening, the sky opens wide above the hamlet, revealing a magnificent starry display. When winter arrives, the gîte becomes a true cocoon, wrapped in the quietness of the forest and the gentle atmosphere of the mountains.

Warm and charming, the gîte is designed to accommodate two guests and is reached by a few stepping stones leading to the entrance terrace.
On the ground floor, the living area combines a comfortable lounge with a functional, fully equipped kitchenette (filter coffee maker).

Upstairs, under the eaves, you will find :
– A cosy bedroom (double bed 140 cm)
– An adjoining modern shower room

Outside, the garden and terrace allow you to fully enjoy the tranquillity of the hamlet.
Pets are welcome at an additional charge and must be kept on a leash within the hamlet. Parking is available in a reserved space approximately 200 metres away, unloading can be done close to the gîte. Mobile coverage may vary, inviting you to gently disconnect. Board games or books can be borrowed upon request. For added comfort, remember to bring slippers and boots in winter or mid-season.
