In a pretty hamlet in Biros, surrounded by forests and at an altitude of 900 metres, the cottage is a comfortable and spacious traditional mountain house of around 100m², built of stone, detached and facing south, in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Nature Park.

Looking for nature and tranquillity? Come and recharge your batteries in our beautiful Biros valley! At an altitude of 900 metres, the Andourra gite (rated 3* tourist accommodation and certified by Gites de France, Good Addresses 2023, 2024 and 2025 on gites.fr) has been renovated using natural materials (stone, wood, terracotta). Its rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a fireplace in the living room, and a garden (with pergola and wooden terrace) sheltered from view and not overlooked, adjoining a meadow that slopes down to the stream.
You will be surrounded by nature and tranquillity, while enjoying the atmosphere and security of a typical Biros village. There is no vehicle access in front of the house; cars are parked in the hamlet square 50-70 metres away, accessed via a steep lane.
This comfortable cottage can accommodate 6 people (1 double bed (160 cm); 3 single beds; 1 sofa bed).
Information is available in the cottage to help you choose your activities (GR10 nearby, Mt Valier reserve, Étang d’Araing, river and lake fishing, mountain biking, paragliding, summer activities, etc.). Nature lovers can also observe the flora and fauna, enjoy a picnic by one of the many streams and waterfalls, admire the unspoilt, authentic landscapes, or simply relax and recharge their batteries.

A well-behaved pet is accepted on request if conditions are met (please not in the bedrooms). Internet is not available in the house but 4G is available depending on the operator. Internet access is available at the small library on the village square.
Summer events: Transhumance (June), Tour de France (July), Grand Antique d’Aubert marble, Autrefois le Couserans in early August, RITE, Honey and Cheese Festival (August), local festivals, etc.
