A stay close to nature in a renovated farmhouse where authenticity and tranquility blend perfectly

In the heart of Tarn, this renovated old farmhouse offers an escape in a rural setting where the sweetness of life abounds. Amid rolling valleys and charming villages, the area unveils numerous discoveries. Lautrec captivates with its picturesque narrow streets, its famous mill, and its rose garlic. Further afield, Castres with its colorful houses or Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, promise delightful getaways. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the hiking trails, the Aquaval complex, and the well-preserved landscapes.

Adjoining the owners’ house, this gîte retains the spirit of a family estate where animals are part of daily life: a friendly dog, sheep, a beehive, and even retired horses enjoying a second life in complete serenity.

Adapted to accommodate up to 8 people, this old building has preserved the charm of traditional farmhouses. The ground floor, dedicated to relaxation, features a corridor leading to three consecutive rooms, each fitted with 90×190 cm beds that can be configured as doubles. A particularity of the structure is that these rooms do not have windows, though they benefit from mechanical ventilation. This entrance corridor, which leads to a shower room and a separate toilet, opens onto the private outdoor terrace.

The upper floor, which is air-conditioned, reveals a bright living space where exposed beams and stone walls create a warm atmosphere. The functional, open kitchen blends naturally with the dining area and lounge, located near the stove. Here, everything invites you to slow down and simply enjoy the surroundings. A television is provided solely for watching DVDs, thereby encouraging a true disconnect. On this same level, there is a bedroom with a 160×200 cm bed and its own en-suite bathroom, as well as a separate toilet.

The outdoor area is a veritable playground and relaxation zone. The communal above-ground swimming pool (6×3×1.20 m) offers a refreshing retreat, and the pétanque court promises convivial moments. Downstairs, a small pond completes the picture.
