If you’re looking for peace and quiet, PETCHES, a small village perched at an altitude of 950 m, overlooks the mountains and is only 8 minutes from Ax les Thermes. This atypical gîte is the former village school.

This gîte is ideal for vacations with family, friends or bikers. In winter, a view of snow-capped mountains and sunshine all day long. The road is cleared of snow. In summer, the temperature is ideal, thanks to the altitude of the village. Enjoy the garden with its dining area and barbecue. Children can have fun on the playground shared by both gîtes. Several hiking trails start from the gîte.
The gîte, with its period wooden floors, open fireplace and stone walls, is an authentic mountain gîte, making it atypical.
Ground floor: entrance, laundry room with ski room. 1st floor: living room with fireplace, fitted kitchen and dining area, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (140cm), separate WC, shower room. 2nd floor: mezzanine with reading area and 1 attic bedroom with 1 double bed (160cm) or 2 single beds (80cm), which can be separated, and 1 extra bed (80cm), plus a crib. Electric heating. Garden furniture, barbecue. Bed linen and towels included, household linen and cleaning products supplied. High-speed WIFI (satellite). Pets allowed except during summer and winter vacations. One dog accepted and cats FORBIDDEN. Possibility of renting the 2 gîtes (le Pradet and la Fount) for up to 10 people.
Access to the gite: you can safely drive up to 50m to unload your luggage. A free public parking lot is just 80m away, allowing you to park your vehicle during your stay.
