La Pyrénéenne – A treehouse perched 6 metres above the ground in the heart of the forest
Just 45 minutes south-west of Toulouse, discover La Pyrénéenne, a wooden treehouse on stilts nestled in the heart of the forest, in a lush green setting on the shores of Lake Savères. Perched at the highest point of the estate, on the southern side facing the Pyrenees, it invites you to enjoy a unique break combining nature, comfort and a chance to unwind.
On arrival, park your car facing the lake, then walk to your retreat along a small forest path. A flight of steps leads you up to this authentic perched chalet, inspired by mountain chalets, with its natural cedar cladding and slate-effect tiled roof.
Inside, the charm of the wood and the views out onto the forest create an atmosphere perfect for recharging your batteries. Set beneath a large Velux window, the queen-size bed allows you to gaze at the starry sky once night falls. The bathroom extends this immersion in nature thanks to a large window offering a view of the trees from the shower.
For a truly special moment of relaxation, enjoy your private Nordic bath, perched 6 metres above the ground on a second terrace accessible via a small flight of stairs. An intimate space to savour the benefits of warm water in the heart of the forest.
With 20 m² of indoor space and a 21 m² terrace, La Pyrénéenne accommodates 1 to 4 people. It features a queen-size bed and a pull-out bed, making it ideal for a stay as a couple, with family or with friends. Fully equipped, it offers all the necessary comforts, including high-quality bed linen and breakfast included.
In the morning, your breakfast, made with fresh produce, is delivered to the foot of the cabin. It’s up to you to hoist it up to your terrace using a pulley, for a unique way to wake up to the rhythms of nature. For dinner, a picnic basket filled with local produce is also available as an option.
A unique experience combining the forest, a Nordic bath and the simple pleasures of life, allowing you to slow down and make the most of a break from the daily grind.
