“Au Portaou” is a traditional Cévennes farmhouse built of granite and schist, featuring an inner courtyard, a pergola, and typical Cévennes terraces where calm and serenity reign. Enjoy a table d’hôtes (set menu) featuring local Cévennes cuisine (vegetarian and gluten-free options available upon request). A signatory of the “European Charter for Sustainable Tourism” with the Cévennes National Park, and a member of Cévennes-Ecotourism, you’re guaranteed rest in lush nature to the sound of gently flowing spring water. Various themed stays are available. A €5 supplement applies for single-night bookings. Four bedrooms, each decorated with handmade patchwork and different colors, have a private bathroom and eco-friendly central heating and a wood-burning stove (wood provided in winter).
