Nestled into the foothills of the protected Massif de la Gardiole, Domaine de Mujolan has 56 hectares of vineyards clustered around the 19th-century château. Located in the commune of Fabrègues halfway between Montpellier and Sète, Mujolan is not far from the Mediterranean Sea, where vineyards have been grown alongside the Via Domitia since Roman times. The area is called “Collines de la Moure” (hills of the moure”). In this region, moure means muzzle, or village. The hills were often likened to moures, each one with its own name! Domaine de Mujolan invites you to sample its wines in a tasting room housed in the estate’s old henhouses.
