Founded in 1925, Domaine Chabrier is an independent, family-owned vineyard located between the Pont du Gard and the Nîmes Amphitheater. As pioneers of the Duché d’Uzès AOP, we produce a wide range of wines.

A Family Story!

Some stories are written in books. Ours has been written in the vineyards for four generations.

Since 1925, when Louis Chabrier settled in Bourdic, the Chabrier family has passionately cultivated a shared legacy: that of the vineyard and the terroir. After several generations of passing down this legacy, Christophe and Patrick founded their own winery in 1998, and today they’ve handed the reins to Baptiste and Louis—the fourth generation—who continue to carry on the tradition!

A family history guided by a simple ambition: to create authentic, elegant wines that reflect their terroirs.

The Soul of Our Terroirs

Domaine Chabrier spans several municipalities and reveals the full richness of its landscapes through four designations: AOP Duché d’Uzès, IGP Coteaux du Pont du Gard, IGP Cévennes, and IGP Gard.

From chalky limestone and gravel to marl and stony soils, this mosaic of terroirs—combined with carefully selected grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache Noir, Grenache Gris, Viognier, Chardonnay, and many others—enables us to craft our 14 cuvées, ranging from white to red, including rosé. Always with a single guiding principle: to honor the expression of each terroir and offer exceptional potential.

Because a great wine is born as much in the vineyard as in the cellar, every detail counts. The care taken with the plots, the precision of the winemaking process, and respect for the fruit give rise to wines of great finesse, combining elegance, character, and authenticity.

Certified HVE 3, Domaine Chabrier is committed to viticulture that is more respectful of the environment and biodiversity. In particular, the estate has planted resistant grape varieties, eliminated the use of herbicides, and prioritizes soil cultivation to preserve the soil’s balance and richness.
