Founded in the 12th century by Cistercian monks, Château de Jau has been owned by the Dauré family since the 1970s. Situated in Cases-de-Pène in the Agly Valley, the estate covers around 100 hectares of vineyards. Certified organic since 2021, it combines historical heritage, diverse terroirs and respect for the environment. Château de Jau produces a wide range of wines: reds, whites, rosés, naturally sweet wines and sparkling wines. Among its appellations are: AOP Côtes du Roussillon, Côtes du Roussillon Villages and Muscat de Rivesaltes. The estate offers a complete experience: tastings in the wine cellar, guided tours of the vineyards and facilities, and dining (open in summer), with traditional Catalan menus paired with the estate’s wines. The Château also offers accommodation so that guests can extend their exploration of the Roussillon’s heritage, nature and culture.
