Chi siamo
The castle (rather a beautiful manor house) and the church are perched on a hill 300m above sea level overlooking the plain of Gimone. The Saint Antoine church, which has been extensively altered over the centuries, undoubtedly dates back to the 14th century, of which its beautiful entrance gate is a relic, perhaps escaped the Huguenot destructions in 1570, which happened all over the Savès. Originally, the bell tower did not exceed the roof of the church, it was surmounted by a spire in 1870.
Note inside behind the altar a large painting (2.45X1.73) representing the Crucifixion with the Virgin and Saint Anthony dated 1809 and signed Lagarde (listed in the inventory of Historical Monuments). To see in the surroundings, the remains of an old windmill, a fountain, two wells and a watering trough.
