Self-catering mountain accommodation, at an altitude of 1200m, ideal to recharge your batteries, to disconnect or to stop over for nature and mountain sports lovers, in summer and winter.

Traditional mountain lodging : here you can have a drink, eat, taste or sleep in a simple and unusual setting, in the heart of the forest. Located at the foot of the unavoidable Pic de Bazès, on the GR101 and the GRP Tour du Val d’Azun. Trails, mountain biking, donkey and horseback riding nearby. In winter, the Refuge resumes its traditional function of “Refuge”, it is accessible only on foot, snowshoes or ski by a groomed track of 3.5km from the parking of the station Couraduque – Espace Nordique Val d’Azun. .

The Refuge du Haugarou is an autonomous accommodation, it is not connected to any network. The water comes from the spring, the electricity is produced by solar panels and the telecommunications by satellite. It is located in a white zone, electrosensitive people will find here guaranteed rest. Also, people looking for a digital detox will be welcome! The Refuge welcomes you all year round, alone or in groups. If you want to offer an unforgettable experience to your loved ones, the refuge offers gift vouchers. Authentic place in the nature to recharge or disconnect. Dining room with fireplace, terrace, deckchairs. Restaurant with 40 seats. Fresh and/or local products cooking, home-made bread also. Lodging for 18 people.
