Part of a small oyster farm on the Thau Lagoon in the Mediterranean , the Maison Tarbouriech is now diversifying its activities and invites you to discover a unique place in the heart of Occitania

In order to give life to the Domaine Tarbouriech, “the ostéi-creator” Florent Tarbouriech and his wife Sabine , have assembled a multidisciplinary team of experienced designers, craftsmen and artists. In the 18th century, between Montpellier and Béziers, madness meant a mansion in the heart of nature, sheltered in the foliage. Staying in the domain is sharing our “madness”. Four rooms and suites in the mansion, nine lodges in the barn with sagne roof from the 13th century, 2 residences and a spa sheltered in the vats of chaix of this former wine estate. We want to preserve this family warmth and guarantee serene privacy in your relaxation times.

Millennia have shaped this landscape, between vineyards and the lagoon. Centuries have given this family home its protective harmony. The Tarbouriech family would have needed years to make this place “the Estate”, the centuries-old walls giving way to current architecture. Heirs of this long time, we invite you to take advantage of the moment, to slow down, to listen to your rhythm, to let go of weightlessness.

To discover this authentic place and the passion that has animated the family for three generations, a visit to the oyster farm is offered. You will learn all there is to know about the art of the oyster farmer, such as sticking by hand, one by one, special pink oysters. The House began in 2006, the artificial reproduction of the tidal phenomenon. A unique and patented farming process that allows the oysters to be raised above water to strengthen them and enhance their quality.Take a stroll in an oyster barge to cross the “solar tables”, parks powered by solar panels, a 100% ecological process.
