This ancient building was built on the ramparts in the heart of Vallabrix, an unspoilt village in the Gard Provençal. It has been completely restored while preserving its authenticity, and offers 3 independent suites with a private jacuzzi in a very quiet location.

La Maison de Sofia, located 10 minutes from Uzès and 20 minutes from the Pont du Gard, welcomes you to its charming suites. This old building, built on the ramparts and restored with respect for its authenticity, is located in the heart of Vallabrix, an unspoilt village in the Gard region of Provence. It offers 3 independent suites in a very peaceful setting. Each has its own private outdoor space and jacuzzi.

Sofia House is a good base from which to enjoy the many excursions to explore the region. Visit Uzès, a city of art and history, the Pont du Gard, a UNESCO heritage site, the charming neighbouring villages and the Gardon and Cèze valleys. Cycle through the garrigue, canoe along rivers…

We care about your well-being and will pay the utmost attention to your comfort to ensure that you have a completely relaxing stay. Breakfast, prepared using local and home-made products, is served in the suites or their private outdoor area, depending on the weather and your wishes.

Bathrobes, foutas and flip-flops are at your disposal to fully enjoy the jacuzzis and the hammam. If you wish to enjoy the peace and quiet of La Maison de Sofia during the evening, we offer tapas platters accompanied by local wines. Picnic baskets can also be prepared (if ordered the day before).
