The town of Mirandol dominates the wild Viaur valley

A natural border between the departments of Tarn and Aveyron, just as it once did between Albigeois and Rouergue, between Gascony and Languedoc, the Viaur Valley cuts deeply into the Ségala Plateau. Its winding course alternates between wild gorges and wider sections where the river seems to calm down: throughout its course, it offers visitors some particularly remarkable natural sites. An ideal playground for hikers and sports enthusiasts, exploring the valley’s medieval bridges and mills. Also nearby: Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; Cordes-sur-Ciel, the famous fortified town bordering the ancient Gaillac vineyards; the picturesque villages of Monestiès and Sauveterre-de-Rouergue; Rodez and the Soulages Museum.

Detached cottage, 300 meters from the center of Mirandol, on a small road leading down to the Viaur River, which you can reach in 15 minutes via a picturesque wooded path. Enclosed garden, barbecue, garden furniture, and views of the Viaur ravines at the rear. On the ground floor:
– Large, bright living room with a sitting area (sofa, TV) and dining area
– Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, 4-burner gas stove, refrigerator-freezer, microwave, filter coffee maker and Senséo coffee maker)
– Bedroom with two 90×190 single beds
– Bedroom with a 140×190 double bed
– Bathroom with shower and sink
– Toilet

In the basement, two other bedrooms, very cool in summer, each with a 140×190 double bed

Bed linens and towels provided, and end-of-stay cleaning service included.
