In the south of the Tarn, between Castres and Revel, Puylaurens overlooks the rolling hills of the Pays de Cocagne. This peaceful bastide town, believed to be the birthplace of Marianne — the symbol of the French Republic — charms visitors with its historic streets and views over the Montagne Noire. Nearby, you’ll find hiking trails, the sources of the Canal du Midi, the villages of Lautrec and Sorèze, and even Albi, less than an hour away, offering a rich mix of cultural and natural sites.

In this bucolic setting, you’ll find this welcoming family gîte, located on a working equestrian center. Adjoining another gîte and a year-round residence, it offers a convivial atmosphere and direct access to the rhythm of life on the estate.

The 85 m² gîte sleeps up to 6 people and includes on the ground floor:
– a separate, fully equipped kitchen (small dishwasher, oven, filter coffee maker, fridge-freezer)
– a spacious dining room, perfect for meals and board games
– a cozy living room with a fireplace (wood provided) and connected TV

Upstairs, the sleeping area offers:
– one bedroom with a 140×190 cm double bed
– one bedroom with two 90×190 cm single beds and a small reading nook
– one small bedroom with bunk beds (90×190 cm)
– a bathroom with double sink and Italian-style shower
– separate WC

Outside: a well-designed terrace (outdoor dining and lounge area under shade cloth), a tubular pool (4×2 m, 0.80 m deep), a plancha grill, and access to the clubhouse leisure area (babyfoot, billiards). A simple, lively, and welcoming place for a holiday in the rural Tarn.

The gîte also includes Wi-Fi, electric heating, and baby equipment. Pets are welcome at no extra charge.
