To discover the Cévennes Piedmont, this pretty stone gîte, with garden and shared pool, is the perfect pied-à-terre. A charming, fully renovated two-storey outbuilding, the ‘Paillé du Galatras’ is situated on a terraced ‘olivette’.

On arrival at Le Paillé du Galatras, with parking for your vehicle, you’ll enter the gîte via the private terrace with garden furniture and BBQ. The living room with its kitchenette (hob, multifunction oven, top fridge with freezer, coffee maker, toaster and kettle) is equipped with a 1-person sofa-bed, 2 armchairs, a TV…

A wooden staircase leads down to the bedroom (140cm bed), which is cool in summer, and the adjoining shower room (shower and toilet) with washing machine. Set in enclosed grounds, the shared private swimming pool is open from June 1 to September 15, weather permitting (closed every evening after 8:00 pm).

Deckchairs are available for your relaxation. Sheets, towels, kitchen linen and cleaning products are provided free of charge.
Tourist tax not included.

This gîte, close to the owner’s home, will enable you to spend a pleasant, calm and rejuvenating stay.
Ideally located, Saint Hippolyte du Fort (village of 13 fountains and sundials, Silk Museum) is 1 hour from Nîmes, Montpellier, the Languedoc beaches and the Cevennes mountains (Mont Aigoual, Corniche des Cévennes). You can also discover the Bambouseraie in Anduze, the Train à Vapeur des Cévennes, the Grotte des Demoiselles, the Musée du Désert, the Cirque de Navacelles, the Pont du Gard and many other attractions.

And if you feel like it, the hiking trails will give you another view of the Cévennes Piedmont. Welcome to the land of Cigal!
