About
Situated in the north of the Gers, in the village of Saint-Puy, the Château de Monluc was built on remains of a 13th century castle. The property is the paternal home of the writer and man-at-arms Blaise de Monluc. Today, it has become the cradle of a famous aperitif: the Pousse-Rapière (association of the Armagnac liqueur with the Brut).
In addition to the Pousse-Rapière, the Château de Monluc also produces Côtes de Gascogne wine, Floc de Gascogne and Armagnac.
