Villefranche-de-Conflent, a village on the “Plus beaux villages de France” list, also boasts an impressive view from the upper citadel.

In Villefranche-de-Conflent, you'll enjoy:

  • Climbing down the “thousand steps” of the underground path that links Fort Libéria to the village of Villefranche-de-Conflent
  • Treating your taste buds to Catalan cuisine in one of the village's restaurants
