High above the Aveyron Gorges, the town of Najac stretches out amidst a lush and wild environment. This old burg is listed both as a “Plus Beau Village de France” and “Pays d'Art et d'Histoire”.

Dominated by its remarkable fortress, Najac boasts a delightful mix of half-timbered houses, 14th century fountains, charming restaurants and fine food shops. It's also a great spot for outdoors activities.

Najac will enchant you with its architectural heritage. The outdoors activities centre AAGAC, at the foot of the village, is a key attraction which offers a wide range of activities.

  • Admiring the view from the top of Najac Fortress, 200 meters above the River Aveyron.
  • Instagramming the cobbled path overflowing with flowers and ivy between the village and its fortress.
